As the promise of biotherapeutics for the treatment of cancer, diabetes, and other diseases grows, so does the complexity of manufacturing scale-up, process analysis and control, batch quality and safety, as well as the integrity of the supply chain. This conference will explore the key challenges in the commercial production of biologically-derived drugs (i.e., proteins, antibodies, cell-based therapies) and how innovative technology will help overcome them. Conference participants at this event will hear how MIT research is reshaping the biopharmaceutical industry with novel technologies that will impact this burgeoning industry of global importance.

Policy:
Cancellations received in writing via email register@ilp.mit.edu on or before March 3, 2009 are entitled to a full refund less a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be made after March 3, 2009. Substitutions, may also be made in writing by March 3, 2009. Any substitutions after that date should be made at the Conference On-Site Registration Desk.
