This one-day conference will present a series of talks by experts in areas around the extrapolation of current trends in aspects of human mobility and the social implications for the future. How will aviation, automobiles and other transportation systems develop? What is the likely effect of future energy and environmental policy and energy supplies on these systems? As the world’s population continues to migrate to urban areas, how will people move around within cities? Listen to these discussions and consider the possible impact on your business and your life.

*Representatives from ILP member companies may attend at no charge, however a $50 processing fee will apply to each representative who fails to attend without canceling in advance. Cancellations must be received in writing via email: register@ilp.mit.edu no later than September 11, 2008.

Cancellation
Policy:
Cancellations received in writing to: register@ilp.mit.edu on or before September 11, 2008 are entitled to a full refund less a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be made after September 11, 2008. Substitutions, may also be made in writing via email by September 11, 2008. Any substitutions after that date should be made at the Conference On-Site Registration Desk.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Le Meridien Cambridge hotel near the MIT campus. Please call for reservations directly at 1-800-543-4300 or 617-577-0200. Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and reservations must be made no later than August 22, 2008. Please refer to the 2008 MIT Future of Mobility Conference to receive the $255 room rate, plus local tax, single or double occupancy.
